BSA Troop 209 - Anchorage, AK

 

Welcome to the homepage of Boy Scouts of America Troop 209 in Anchorage, Alaska.  Our troop is part of the Chugach District of the Great Alaska Council.  Originally chartered in 1967, Troop 209 has a long history of providing youth with opportunities to develop a strong sense character, leadership, and personal responsibility.

 

WHO:  Troop 209 is a scout-led troop with 10-15 scouts who plan and host a wide variety of events and functions throughout the year including monthly camping, fishing, hiking and backpacking trips. We also participate in service project and educational events. In addition,  the troop participates in regional scouting events and activities sponsored by the Great Alaska council.  The troop also raises money to travel to national scouting events.


WHERE and WHEN:  Troop 209 meets at 7:00-8:30 PM most Monday nights throughout the year at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1612 Oceanview Drive, Anchorage (COSLC is at the corner of Oceanview and Old Seward Highway).  Visitors are always welcome!
